Catherine Bécam

Born in Saint-Malo in 1966, Catherine Bécam trained in publishing and journalistic communication in the 90’s at the Ecole Estienne in Paris. Her nomadism took her to London, Rio, Belém, Recife, Bangalore, where she developed her passion for writing through contact with other cultures. In Brazil, she immersed herself in local spiritual traditions, such as Candomblé and Ubamda. She wrote « Legends of Algodoal » with a Brazilian artist, on Boto dolphin spirits and local legends from Algodoal island. Journalist, editorial consultant, former director of the « Pôle Communication du Grand Narbonne » she has since worked as an independent consultant and can devote herself to writing and artistic creation.
